airBaltic Pilot Academy has improved the payment structure for its commercial pilot study programme. As of now, after successfully passing the company’s assessment, airBaltic will finance a significant part of the studies.

Students of the airBaltic Pilot Academy will now have to cover the costs of ATPL theory studies and 45 flight hours, costing EUR 25,000. After passing the airBaltic pilot assessment and becoming an employee of the company, the airline can partly or wholly provide financing (loan) for the rest of the studies.

It is possible to vary the size of the required loan for each student. The maximum possible loan amount is EUR 64,000.
Along with the loan amount, the loan interest rate also changes, which is 10% of the loan amount.

Total cost of 89 000 € is applicable for each student.

Training price includes:

• modern theoretical courses on computer-based training and self-study,
• best-in-industry study books on individually allocated iPads,
• professional instructor-led theoretical classes,
• simulator and practical flight training,
• mandatory examinations,
• certification and the associated licensing fees.

Extra costs apply only if the student fails several examinations and continues the course. The cost does not include living and other subsistence expenses, but we will help with economical accommodation solutions at the best value at your flight training location.

You will be flying state of the art training aircraft at Pilot Academy, allowing you to transfer your knowledge and skills into the most advanced 21^st century airliner flight decks. 
Pilot Academy will utilise aircraft especially designed and produced for training purposes. They are fitted with the latest generation digital avionics, eco-engines, integrated flight instrument systems with synthetic vision and advanced safety features. These systems exceed the minimum certification requirement list, but bring the training closer to the standards of modern commercial aviation. Likewise, both the single and twin-engine aircraft will ensure a common cockpit environment that will in turn facilitate the study process.
You will be trained by professional instructors who are currently actively flying at airBaltic, and those who are well known specialists in this field, ensuring the necessary focus on the actual requirements and working conditions of a commercial airline pilot.
