The airBaltic Pilot Academy announces an upcoming price change for its Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) course. Under the new pricing structure, the cost of the ATPL course will increase, however, despite the price adjustment, the company’s maximum loan amount for students remains unchanged.
Under the new pricing structure, the cost of the ATPL course will rise from EUR 79 000 to EUR 89 000, starting from March 2025. Despite the price hike, the company’s maximum loan remains unchanged at EUR 64 000. Consequently, the initial installment, previously set at EUR 15 000, will increase to EUR 25 000 starting in 2025.
Kristaps Lapsa, General Manager of airBaltic Training: “To continue delivering top-tier training and maintaining our high standards, we are adjusting the course price. Skilled and well-trained professionals are the cornerstone of any successful airline. This change enables us to invest in state-of-the-art equipment and highly qualified instructors, ensuring our future pilots receive the best education and preparation for their aviation careers. Our commitment to excellence remains unwavering, and this adjustment supports our goal of educating outstanding aviation professionals.”
Since its establishment, the airBaltic Pilot Academy has successfully seen 124 graduates become airBaltic pilots, with a new group of graduates expected to follow next January. Additionally, 25 graduates have returned to the Academy, taking on roles as theoretical, flight, and simulator instructors alongside their duties as First Officers.
This change will not affect students currently enrolled or those who have already secured their spot with a down payment.
