Back in September 2020, airBaltic Training launched a new training programme for aircraft mechanics in cooperation with the Liepājas Valsts tehnikums.

The programme’s first group of students has now graduated after almost one and a half years of training. Baltic Outlook met two of those students who are now working for airBaltic and airBaltic Training. Rolands Gariņš works on airBaltic aircraft at Riga Airport, and Daniels Šutenko works in his hometown of Liepāja at the Diamond Aircraft maintenance centre, where he takes care of airBaltic Pilot Academy aircraft.
