Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC)

airBaltic Training provides Airline Pilot Standard Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) course developed in accordance with the latest EASA regulations.

Course prerequisites (for EASA licences)*:

  • Be at least 18 years of age;

  • Hold Pilot License for airplanes;

  • Hold valid ME IR(A) or has held ME IR(a) that validity has expired not longer than for 12 months;

  • hold a certificate issued in accordance with FCL.055 or licence endorsement of at least level 4 of English language proficiency.

*For other licences - according to above mentioned requirements or national regulations.

Course content (Modular):

  1. Theoretical Ground Course (80 hours):
    • Web Based Training (40 hours)– 5 days
    • Classroom training (32 hours) – 5 days, including Exam
    • Practical Exercises on SOP training (8 hours) - 1-2 Days
  2. FSTD training (40 hours) – 10 sessions, including final assessment.


Modular APS MCC training course is an enhanced MCC training course that additionally to the content of the basic MCC training course includes advanced swept-wing jet aeroplane training and airline operations' scenario training to equip a pilot with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to commence initial type rating training to the standards generally required by a commercial air transport (CAT) operator.
