Cabin Crew Aircraft Type Conversion Training

The Conversion training is designed to make the cabin crew familiar with the specific aircraft type: its systems, safety, service equipment and its use. Also type related standard operating procedures and standard emergency procedures.

Aircraft Types available:

  • Boeing 737 
  • Bombardier Dash - Q400

The course covers theoretical and practical “hands on” training on equipment with mock up   (Multi-Purpose Cabin Trainer) sessions, including firefighting, smoke and evacuation scenarios by qualified instructors.

Cabin crew conversion training is developed in accordance with ICAO DOC 10003, Commission Regulation (EU) No 1178/2011 and Commission Regulation (EU) No 290/2012 Annex V Part CC, Appendix 1 to Part CC.

Applicability

Cabin Crew members, who have completed the Cabin Crew Initial Safety Training

Duration

Full conversion training for new cabin crew – 40 hours (5 days)

Abbreviated conversion training for experienced cabin crew – 16 hours (2 days)
